Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities. This page explains what we have done, what is still missing, and how to ask us for help.

Standard we follow

The lacasatlv.com website has been adapted under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard SI 5568, which is based on the W3C WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA.

What we have done

Among other things:

  • The whole site can be used with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus outline and a link to skip straight to the content.
  • Ordered headings and sections, text alternatives for photos, and labels for screen readers.
  • Enough colour contrast between text and background.
  • The site is available in Spanish, English, French and Hebrew; the Hebrew version reads right to left.
  • It adapts to mobile phones and to zoom up to 200% without losing content.
  • Animations turn off if your device asks for reduced motion, and nothing flashes.
  • Links that open in a new tab say so to screen readers.

Parts that are not yet accessible

Some parts are provided by other companies and are not fully under our control:

  • The newsletter form (EmailOctopus) shows its labels in English in every language.
  • The membership and donation payment pages belong to an external payment processor (Morning).
  • The links to Instagram and WhatsApp lead to external services.

If any of these does not work for you, write to us and we will help you complete it another way.
